More About Noah Pangea

At the University of Michigan, I studied kinesiology and chose to take courses concentrating on ‘human optimization’ in the sense of physiology and wellness. As time passed, I strengthened my expertise and gained an in-depth comprehension of hormone control and manipulation due to knowledge from courses, personal lifestyle, and working with Victor Katch for nutritional management (macronutrient manipulation).

Following this, I continued to use my previous experiences and knowledge to gain a job as a University of Michigan kinesiologist and NSCA specialized trainer and launch a weight management section for an already established group of Endocrinologists; fortunately, the program’s success was magnanimous.

In addition to working at weight management clinics, I would continue my personal quest revolving around, at the time, what I saw as self-perfection; currently, we use the word self-authenticity (as over the years, I have learned this is self-perfection), but for now, we will refer back to self-perfection. Eventually, I felt led to seek a humanistic psychologist to work with, which suddenly allowed for the depth of my work to increase as I began to learn to ‘be aware’.

The particular experience led me to stray from the base concept of situations like ‘overweight’ and “stress” being a health issue; instead, I began to ponder things such as ‘Why? What is the root, and where does it stem from?’. While I gained an understanding that cortisol was a contributor, the psychologist and I fell into more profound studies and alternative medicine (e.g., ancient healing techniques and Western herbalism) because of the question still being how do we feel better.

I found that the awareness I gained from alternative medicine did not contradict my Western studies but broadened my mindset of healing and self-growth. The concept that struck me was that when something is out of balance, everything will be out of balance as it is in a state of compensation, leading to the realization that an individual should be balanced in all areas and remain that way.

Though it sounds like common sense, questions arise of ‘How, why, and where are we out of balance? And how do we rebalance and maintain it?’ As humans in the modern world, we are maintaining vast amounts of stress due to our laps of self-aware (understanding ourselves at a depth that leads to emotional regulation and can lead to neurological regeneration as the stress drops). So this leads to Project Pangea—a self-rooted program established to perpetuate and teach sense aware (a level of being aware).
